How to Visit Capri, Italy

Embarking on your Capri adventure is an experience in itself.

The most common route is to fly into Naples International Airport, from where you can reach the island via a scenic ferry or a swift hydrofoil ride. The ferry journey from Naples takes approximately 80 minutes, while the hydrofoil will have you there in just 40 minutes. Make sure to check schedules and book your tickets in advance to ensure a seamless journey.

Another option is to fly to Naples and enjoy a couple of nights in this beautiful city. We spent a week in Sorrento and then got a small boat from there to the island, which took roughly an hour.

Tips for Your Visit

Consider visiting Capri during the shoulder seasons (spring or fall) to avoid the peak tourist crowds. We were there in June and was quite busy.

Capri is home to many cobblestone streets and hills so bring comfortable footwear to deal with these paths.

Reserve restaurant tables and boat tours in advance, especially during peak season, to secure your preferred times and avoid disappointment.

Explore the island beyond the main tourist areas to discover hidden gems and experience the local way of life.

You're now equipped to make the most of your visit to the captivating island of Capri. Start planning your adventure today and immerse yourself in a paradise that will leave you spellbound.
